The customer landed a gig on a Mediterranean luxury cruise ship for the next summer and needed a light but able bass pedalboard for covering various musical styles. As he also planned to fly with the board a bit, we had to keep the weight in check.
The Cioks DC7 was a great choice for the board, as it's capable, lightweight and works all around the globe without any extra hassle. Also attaching it to the Pedaltrain Classic Junior was a breeze with a Cioks Grip accessory. The Pedaltrain's tour case was also light but sturdy enough for this kind of use, and the whole rig with all the cables and the cable snake included was only around 13 kilos, well below the weight limit of the airline companies.
