You can also try to reach us by phone, but if we’re right in the middle of a consultation session our phones will be turned mute. Please, don’t be upset if we cannot answer our phones immediately. We will get back to you as quickly as possible.
Searching the webshop for products
You can search Custom Boards’ webshop by clicking on the links in our how-to guides, by using product groups, or sorted by manufacturer. Each product’s availability is clearly indicated. Products which are in stock can be ordered right away, and will be shipped on the next working day.
What if the product I want is out of stock?
If your chosen product is currently unavailable, please fill in your e-mail-address in the correct blank. We will inform you immediately, when a new shipment has arrived. We do not have a dedicated reservation system; all reservations and advance orders are handled very conveniently directly in the webshop’s product view.
Can I order without having to register?
You don’t have to be a registered customer to order from our webshop. You will be able to track any order using the link we will send you via e-mail. We would recommend that you tick the box “Save my data for any further orders”, which will allow you to order products later down the line, without having to fill in all of your data over again.
Warranty and returns
All our products are covered by our Three-Year Warranty and our 14-day Satisfaction Guarantee. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your products, you will get a full refund. You will have to return the respective product in mint condition and in its original packaging. Special offers cannot be returned.
How do I return a product?
You can start the return process by clicking on the link marked RETURNS at the bottom of our webshop. The link will open a page with more detailed information. You can also return a product without registering as a customer, as the return will be handled and booked using your e-mail-address and our order number.
Once the product has been delivered back to us, you will get a full refund.
It is very easy to create your own customer account. We’d highly recommend using a customer account, because it allows you to follow up on all of your orders, including the order numbers. You can also use your customer account to register several different shipping addresses.
Should you have forgotten your password, you can reset your password by clicking on “Forgot my password”. Fill in your e-mail-address. Our system will send you a link, allowing you to change your password.
Modifying an order
Should you like to change an order after you have placed it, we’d advise you to get in contact with us as quickly as possible via e-mail (email@example.com) or by using our hotline +358 (0)10 2312 461.
All payment transactions in our webshop are handled by Canadian company Stripe. Stripe is the world’s leading – and most widely available – payment handling firm for webshops. Their services are currently used in over 100,000 webshops all around the globe.
Paying using Stripe is very easy, fast, and safe. You pay using your Credit or Debit card. Stripe doesn’t require any additional authentication, instead all transactions are authenticated using the state-of-the-art TLS protocol (Transport Layer Security). This type of authentication is used by many international service providers, such as Amazon, Netflix, HBO Nordic, and Skype.
Can I also pay by invoice?
Alternatively, we also offer payment by Klarna-invoice. At checkout choose Klarna-invoice as your preferred payment option, and fill in your date of birth in the appropriate box. We will process and ship your order in the normal way, and Klarna will send you the invoice using e-mail.
Klarna’s due date is 14 days without additional charges. To be able to use Klarna-invoice as a payment method you have to be over 18 years of age, and your credit-worthiness must be in order. You can find additional information by visiting Klarna’s website.
Methods of delivery
We ship all our products using Finnish Mail’s (Posti) parcel service, because we want all of our shipments to have full tracking data, which we will provide via a link in an e-mail. Should you have misplaced your link, send us an e-mail and we will resend the link.
Posti still provides the tightest network by far for shipments inside Finland, and we trust their service. Their tracking is accurate and easy to use.
We now ship to all locations that can be connected with Posti´s tracking system. You´ll find a preferred shipping option and shipping times to your country at the checkout.
Select the nearest place of delivery (in Finland only)
During the ordering process our webshop will show you the eight nearest places of delivery for your order. Some of them will be Smart Ship-points, which come in handy for smaller items, such as pedals and accessories. Pedalboards will always be sent to your nearest post office.

All orders placed before 2 p.m. on a working day will always be shipped on the same day. Once your order has been packed for shipment, you will receive an e-mail telling you your order is ready for pick-up by Posti’s van.
Double-check that your mobile number is correct! Once your packet has arrived Posti will send you an SMS containing the data needed for collecting your order.

Depending where you live, our checkout shows your shipping rate at the checkout.
We are in the process of integrating UPS into the available shipment options. Details about UPS shipments and rates will be added once this service has been added to our webshop.
What if my order doesn’t arrive?
If your parcel is taking an unusually long time to arrive, please contact us via e-mail, and we will check the shipment’s precise status. We have detailed tracking and status data for any order, which guarantees your shipment won’t get lost, even if you haven’t yet received an SMS notification.

Can I collect my order in person?
You can also choose to collect your order in person at Custom Boards’ pick-up point during checkout. You order will be packed and ready for collection, so you won’t have to spend unnecessary time waiting. We are open weekdays 10 a.m to 6 p.m.
Custom Boards’ HQ
You are always welcome to come and visit us at Custom Boards’ HQ for shopping, or if you have a problem you need solving.
There is always a competent technician available, who is specialized in pedalboards and matters of signal transfer. We are here to help you.
We don’t run a traditional retail shop, where you can hang out and try out different equipment. All our time is spent running our webshop, custom-making pedalboards, and working with our clients during one-on-one appointments.
Please book an appointment in advance either by phone or via e-mail. This will enable us to prepare for your visit, so that our time together can be used most effectively.
You can pay for any purchases at our HQ using Debit or Credit cards. We cannot offer invoicing, and we don’t accept cash for any products that we sell over the counter.
Custom Boards offers its services to musicians, who need help with the integration and maintenance of their rig. We import and sell top-grade amplifiers, effects, pedalboards, power supply units, cables and accessories. Our Backstage-blog serves as a guide for making the most of this equipment.
